We’ll be hosting a live webinar on Tuesday 31st October providing a broad introduction to the Merlin Trust – our history, what we currently fund and tips on applying. Open to all but the session will be especially useful to young horticulturists under 35 years of age or within the first five years of your horticultural career (for any career changers).
The session will be led by Merlin Trust Secretary, Rebecca Slack, with Chair of the Trustees, Sally Petitt. Not only is Sally a trustee of the Merlin Trust but she is also a past recipient of two Merlin awards so can offer a unique perspective.
The session will last no more than 40 minutes and will include an opportunity to post or ask questions. So if you are unsure of whether you would qualify, want to find out if your project would be eligible or would simply like more information about the Merlin Trust, this is your opportunity.
To join the session, complete the form here and we will send you joining instructions on or before 30th October.
We will record the session so if you can’t make it, you will be able to watch it back! Watch out for links on our website.
We’ll also be joining the Chartered Institute of Horticulture for Green Careers Week with a Spotlight on Bursaries session on 8th November at 3pm, providing another opportunity to find out more about the Merlin Trust. Book your free place on this webinar here.
